I notice things that others walk past.
BACKGROUND
Not just what a property is posting, but what it isn’t saying. The gap between the experience it delivers and the story it’s telling online. The listing that documents the rooms but never evokes them. The review that went unanswered. The platform the right guest would
search on - where the property simply doesn’t appear.
It’s an instinct built over a career spent genuinely inside this industry.
My background spans most of what hospitality involves: client relations, business development across resort properties nationally, front-of-house management at a winery and restaurant, and marketing for luxury hotel and lifestyle awards brands. I hold a Travel & Tourism Diploma, completed formal digital marketing training at the Red & Yellow School and Quirk, and I’ve consulted to hospitality and travel clients across South Africa. The thread running through all of it has always been the same - understanding what a property offers, and making sure the right people can find it.

The Right Benchmark
EXPERIENCED AS A GUEST
I have stayed across the full range of Southern African hospitality as a paying guest, not as a consultant. Family resorts and timeshare properties from Kruger Park Lodge to Umhlanga Sands. 5-Star Game reserves. Beachfront properties like The Twelve Apostles and Strandloper Ocean Boutique Hotel in Paternoster. And wine estate lodges and city hotels at the very top of the market - Babylonstoren, Delaire Graff, Mont Rochelle, La Petite Ferme, La Cotte, Boschendal, The Silo, The Cape Grace, The Robertson Small Hotel, and most recently, the Mount Nelson.
None of these were clients. All of them were stays. That distinction is the point: I know what memorable and exceptional feels like from the guest’s side of the counter, at every price point.
Which means when I walk into your property, I am measuring you against the right benchmark - the best in your category, not mine.
MY APPROACH
Working With Me
I take a maximum of three to four clients at any one time. That’s a deliberate choice. The work I do requires genuine attention, and I won’t give you less than that. Every engagement begins with an honest conversation. If I think you need something I can’t provide, I’ll tell you. If I think what you’re already doing is working, I’ll tell you that too.
